Program Manager, Creative & Experience

Location: Chicago, IL

Type: Full Time

Min. Experience: Mid Level

Reporting to the Director of Experience Strategy & Creative, the Program Manager, Creative & Experience sits within the Creative & Experience Strategy team and translates established business and member priorities into clear, coordinated creative and marketing programs.

This role combines strong program management with the strategic judgment needed to develop actionable briefs, align stakeholders, manage complex asset delivery, and support creative experimentation. The Program Manager, Creative & Experience owns how approved priorities are scoped, organized, and delivered while keeping execution connected to the original objective and member need.

This is not a creative-practitioner or creative-strategy role. It requires a marketing program manager who understands the creative process through experience working closely with in-house designers, writers, and other creative specialists.

Responsibilities:

Program planning and stakeholder alignment
  • Translate established priorities into actionable briefs that define the problem, audience, intended outcome, requirements, constraints, deliverables, and measures of success.
  • Recommend program scope, workstreams, sequencing, and delivery approach.
  • Identify missing information, conflicting inputs, risks, and required decisions before work begins.
  • Synthesize stakeholder feedback, facilitate decisions, and keep the program aligned with the approved brief.

Program operations and delivery

  • Own intake, Jira ticketing, schedules, milestones, dependencies, capacity visibility, risks, and reporting across concurrent programs.
  • Coordinate reviews, approvals, handoffs, quality assurance, and launch readiness.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to team members and stakeholders.
  • Escalate or pause work when required inputs, decisions, resources, or strategic alignment are missing.
  • Improve workflows and operating practices to reduce rework and support scalable execution.

GTM campaigns and marketing assets

  • Manage product GTM initiatives, broad-audience campaigns, and evergreen marketing programs from approved brief through asset delivery.
  • Translate briefs into coordinated asset plans across email, landing pages, websites, in-product content, curated collections, launch communications, templates, and supporting messaging.
  • Partner with creative, product, lifecycle, and channel owners to address channel requirements, versioning, localization, and asset readiness.
  • Ensure assets work together as a coordinated member experience rather than as disconnected deliverables.

Experimentation and learning

  • Translate established learning priorities into clear creative-testing through user testing, consumer insights, concept testing & in-market A/B tests.
  • Partner with leadership to define hypotheses, stimuli, variants, audiences, and success measures.
  • Coordinate test development, readiness, execution, and result reviews.
  • Connect findings to the original brief and recommend whether to iterate, expand, discontinue, or investigate further.
  • Maintain accessible documentation of tests, decisions, and reusable learnings.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in marketing program management, integrated marketing, creative operations, or related work, including ownership of complex programs across teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing creative, brand, content, or experience programs and partnering closely with in-house creative teams.
  • Ability to translate an established priority into a program recommendation and actionable brief, using judgment to resolve ambiguity and recommend scope, sequencing, and resource tradeoffs.
  • Understanding of creative development workflows, digital marketing channels, and how content, messaging, design, review cycles, and channel requirements affect delivery and member experience.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to challenge unclear requests constructively and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with Jira or comparable work management tools, including documentation and program reporting. Consumer marketing, e-commerce, or digital member experience is preferred.
  • Experience translating learning objectives into testing plans, clarifying hypotheses and comparisons, synthesizing findings, and recommending next steps is a plus. Working knowledge of creative experimentation or user-testing principles and limitations.
