PerkSpot is searching for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Merchant Partnerships team! Founded in 2006, we are on a Mission to Save Our Members Money by providing exclusive access to the best discounts available - anywhere. We ensure employees see offers curated to their interests, allowing them to save on electronics, home goods, meal delivery, mortgages, travel, and all the other little—and big—things that will make life a bit easier.

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is a critical member of the Merchant Partnerships team responsible for identifying and securing creative, enterprise-level partnerships with the goal of creating the highest-impact opportunities for PerkSpot and our members. While some merchants might be traditional-style partnerships (at scale), the majority of this role will be focused on solutioning opportunities that are not part of the traditional business model.

This position is required to be in the office 1 day a week. Our offices are located in River North just north of downtown Chicago, IL. 

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities with brands or products that are a good fit for the PerkSpot ecosystem
  • Communicate via email and/or Zoom to present PerkSpot’s value proposition
  • Design and negotiate a revenue model and exclusive perk with the merchant to benefit PerkSpot, the Merchant, and Members
  • Use Salesforce to finalize the sale and onboarding of the Merchant, along with your pipeline of new partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align partnership goals, ensure legal compliance, and report insights

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in partnerships, sales, business development, or new partnerships
  • Strong understanding of the Affiliate Marketing, Advertising, or E-commerce industry
  • Proven knowledge of working cross-category and channel to create 0-1 partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess and improve account performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Domo, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred

The pay:

PerkSpot offers competitive industry rate salaries with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals.  We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity and across teams and levels. The On Target Earnings (OTE) is $170,000 - $190,000 annually.
